Chuck Wentworth is a co-founder of Risk Management Resources (www.RiskMR.com) a consulting firm specializing in risk management and large database research projects. He is also the founder of Analytic Consulting Solutions, Inc. (ACS), a consulting firm that supports the pharmaceutical industry with database research projects. Chuck specializes in the development and warehousing of large databases and performs statistical analysis and graphical presentation of results. He was trained in statistics and mathematics from the University of Rhode Island and Boston University. He is currently a doctoral student at URI and expecting to graduate with a degree in Pharmacoepidemiology in May 2009.

Chuck started his career as an analyst with Epidemiology Resources Inc. where he supported outcome and safety analysis using large health claims databases and clinical data sets. The methodological and database experience he gained at ERI propelled him to the position of Senior Director R&D of the Bioinformatics Division of Quintiles Transnational. Here, he was responsible for the development of analytic products used by the pharmaceutical industry based on the in-house proprietary pharmacy transaction database. He has worked as an independent consultant for the past 8 years supporting large pharmaceutical and biotech companies with database research and data analysis. He supports EPIC (www.EPIC-uk.org), a UK based health research firm, by helping train their clients with the use of the THIN database.
